Intro to Mindful Meditation
5-week series: Feb 3 - Mar 2
There has been much research to support the healing benefits to both body & mind from the practice of meditation. We will explore medically proven mind-body techniques derived from meditation and yoga to reduce stress and support balance and well being. Students will learn to cultivate a practice formally and informally which they can integrate moment by moment into the overall quality of their daily life.

Restorative Yoga & Pranayama is an approach to asana practice that emphasizes the spiritual connection of body mind. Each session has a theme related to yoga which supports the practice. The class emphasizes the healing aspects of meditation and breath work, and encourages inward focus and spiritual attunement. The key to the practice lies in opening to all aspects of the practice including interweaving the teachings into our lives.
Nurturing Yin and Yoga Nidra
5-week series: Feb 18 - Mar 24
The deep nurturing practice of Yin Yoga is a wonderful way to unblock the flow of vital energy throughout body and mind. It is practiced with longer holds, supported with props to strengthen and lengthen connective tissue, and to release deep chronic-held stress and tension. In addition, each class will include a deep restorative yoga nidra practice, guided withdrawal of senses from outer to the inner world into meditative consciousness. The practice inspires a relaxed awareness of the vitality and contentment within.

Gentle Yoga and Mindfulness
5-week series: Feb 13 - Mar 12
The Gentle Yoga and Mindfulness Class is for the student new to yoga, or those wanting a gentle supportive practice. We provide you with the tools to support your yoga practice. Time will be spent learning pranayama, breathing practices, gentle yoga asana and mindfulness practice.
5-week series: Mar 5 - Apr 2
This class is designed to support the expectant mother, and her changing body. Yoga during pregnancy is a great way to strengthen the body, relax the mind and relieve minor discomfort through gentle asana, pranayama and mindfulness. Expectant mothers will build relationships and connections with other expecting mothers as well as strengthen the bond with their baby All levels are welcome.
Meditation Series: Nurture through Sound Healing
In this meditation series we will incorporate gentle movements to settle into body/mind. We will use our voices to tone healing sounds creating balance from within. You do not need to know how to sing. Toning cultivates deep healing and relaxation in the body./mind. Once learned, the practice has therapeutic benefits which can be used by the student for self healing whenever it is needed.

The moodiness of the winter season and loss of daylight can often be a difficult time. Yoga techniques focused on supporting balance in body and mind can ease symptoms of depression and anxiety.
In this course, students will learn techniques that reduce the stress response, improve mood and calm the mind. Scientific study of yoga shows that it is highly effective in helping people manage symptoms and even overcome issues relating to stress, anxiety and depression. Students will learn effective tools to restore balance from the inside out. Connect to your inherent wisdom and reclaim your natural state of being.
