Join us to share and discuss Ayurveda principles we can incorporate into our lives in simple and effective ways. Bring questions and your own personnel experience as we support each others health and well being through the sister science of yoga.  Handouts will be available. Fee $5.00/class
 
Throat Chakra Workshop 
Friday, June 14th 6-8pm 

In this series of workshops, we will focus on learning yoga, pranayana (breath), visualization and more, to support and balance our energy system. The physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual aspects each chakra will be the focus.

This month we will be exploring the Throat Chakra - the seat of expression and communication. Through the yoga asana, sound mantra, and breath work we will nurture the creative expression of our true nature. Fee $30

Confidence, focus and body awareness are woven in to fun activities to expand students creative expression. Through artwork, and yoga, students will get a chance to move, express, and have fun! Students will create a make and take project both sessions. Register for one or both of these sessions.

Ages: 8-13 years

$5.00/class, register for both or one of these classes. We will explore both yoga and art in both of the sessions with a project you will get to make and take with you!

Instructors:
Beth Weninger has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Maryland. She has taught and developed children's art curriculum for over 20 years. Most recently, she was the Education Director at the Octagon Center for the arts where she hosted art camps and classes for children of all ages. She currently works as a visual artist.

Ruthann O'Brien Hadish, E-RYT, RPYT, RCYT, Creative Director Ames Yoga Center.
Ruthann has a passion for yoga and teaching which has been ongoing for over 22 years. She  is an Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher, Prenatal Yoga Teacher, and Registered Children's Yoga Teacher.  Ruthann is a member of the Yoga Alliance, and the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and has received Teacher Training Certification in Radiant Child Yoga.

    Semi Annual Ayurvedic Consultations with Dr. Rajesh Kotecha, MD

    Learn how the Ayurvedic tradition uses Body typing evaluation, Meditation, Yoga, Massage, Herbs and Foods to support balance.  The Science of Life philosophy is based on maintaining balance through life choices appropriate to the individual’s constitution. Learn the practical uses of Ayurveda which supports all of the body/mind systems. 

    Dr. Rajesh Kotecha is the chief physician and executive director of Chakrapani Ayurveda & Research Center in Jaipur, India. He graduated from Ayurvedic college in 1985 and received his doctorate in 1991 from Gujarat Ayurveda University, Jamnagar. He contributes to many health publications and research in the area of Ayurveda. Dr. Rajesh travels and teaches while maintaining a thriving practice in Jaipur, India.
