“I had been taking yoga class with Ruthann for over a year when I found out I was pregnant. I was thrilled when Ruthann was offering a prenatal yoga class as well. The class taught me to relax, focus and learn positions that were very useful to me while I was birthing my baby. I was even able to do the whole labor and delivery with out any drugs and I contribute a lot of that to Ruthann and the wonderful suggestions and support she gave us. The class was also a great way to meet other moms. We hope to stay in touch now that we have babies the same age“ Having a yoga class that focuses on the needs your body has during pregnancy was very beneficial. It was nice to have specific exercises while pregnant and the affirmation and instruction from Ruthann that related specifically to my needs. I really enjoyed the class!” “Practicing yoga during my second pregnancy not only helped me to prepare mentally, physically and emotionally for the birthing experience, but it also helped me to connect with my baby in a more deliberate, meaningful, and purposeful way.”
