Yoga Class Notes

In this session of classes we are studying the Yoga Sutras - the sacred teachings of the wisdom and the practice of Yoga. Reflecting, digesting, and adapting this ancient wisdom has a transformative effect on our approach to life.

Sutra 1.1
The Journey Begins
With humility and an open heart and mind, we embrace the sacred study of Yoga.

Next session we will continue to develop an open heart and mind with the Sutras. I recommend the book The Secret Power of Yoga by Nischala Joy Devi. It is a source of inspiration that you can refer to again and again. This book is available in the Ames Yoga Center Om Shop. Please email Ruthann rahadish@amesyoga.com to reserve a copy.
